How Instruction Works

Every session is one-to-one and tied to an individual tutoring service plan. The tutor reviews the prior session, teaches the planned skill, gives the individual chances to show understanding, records objective performance, and plans the next step.

  • Plain-language explanation and explicit modeling
  • Visual supports, examples, organizers, and bilingual materials
  • Task analysis and instruction in manageable steps
  • Guided practice followed by independent demonstration
  • Repetition, review, error correction, and positive feedback
  • Real-life application and accessible pacing, breaks, and communication supports
